Warmest Greetings to 大先輩と先輩 and all Members
皆さん!お久しぶりですね。。。After the very long and enjoying break, welcome back to Singapore! (No more Yokoso Japan!)The new semester is finally upon us and what better way to start (and some of you the return to JSS) the new semester and celebrate the first JSS activity for the new academic year by attending the upcoming Welcome Tea! What is more important than just coming for the refreshments is the fact that your presence there is greatly appreciated. It will be a good chance to know the freshies and make them feel welcomed. We hope that with your presence, we are able to show the freshies how the JSS fraternity has become for most of us a second home away from home (considering that some people claim日本 as their 1st home). It would be good if everyone could interact and exchange ideas and interests between the seniors and freshies. Furthermore, you can use this opportunity to get reacquainted with the latest JSS activities and also know more about the various sub-clubs. We hope to see everyone there!
On a side note, the first activity after Welcome Tea would occur the day after that. It is a valiant attempt by some members to introduce the sport of Yakyuu (Baseball) and hopefully pick up the sport recreationally. All are invited to attend (freshies and seniors).Details as listed below.
Event: JSS Yakyuu Sports Draft (Ok Practice)
Venue: West Coast Park Open Field opposite Macdonalds
Date: 15 Aug 2009
Time: 10am
Note: Both Male and Female are welcome to join in the practice. Do come in sports attire and bring a glove or bat if you have one. Any further queries, email JSS
